MOVIE VOUCHERS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 These Movie Vouchers Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the Optus Perks Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistencies, these HOYTS Movie Tickets Terms and Conditions prevail.

1.2 Movie Vouchers are available for purchase by Optus Perks Members via Optus Perks. Optus Perks Members must be logged in using their registered email (Username) and Password to make a purchase of Movie Vouchers.

1.3 You may only purchase up to 10 Movie Vouchers per type (e.g. Adult movie vouchers and Kids’ movie vouchers) in a 24-hour period. Movie Vouchers are for personal use, and must not be purchased or used for commercial purposes.

1.4 Movie Vouchers may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash and cannot be re-sold.

1.5 Movie Vouchers will ordinarily be delivered via email as an eVoucher to your registered email address, provided that email address is valid. Whether or not a Movie Voucher can be sent to you as an eVoucher depends on the cinema or venue you specify when you purchase the Movie Voucher.

1.6 Movie Vouchers can be redeemed at participating cinemas for tickets to specified movie sessions. Participating cinemas are listed www.optusperks.com.au/cinemaview

1.7 Movie Vouchers are valid for a specified period only and other terms, conditions and restrictions apply (Voucher terms and conditions) – these Voucher terms and conditions will be disclosed to you before your purchase on the Optus Perks website. For full terms and conditions, please check the terms on the voucher and read the Voucher terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.

1.8 Participating cinemas and the Voucher terms and conditions could change during the validity period of the Movie Voucher, so please confirm a cinema is participating in the program and the Voucher terms and conditions before redeeming the voucher.

1.9 When redeeming Movie Vouchers, the allocation of movie tickets to attend a particular movie session is subject to availability. Optus Perks Members redeeming Movie Vouchers do not receive preferential ticket allocation or seating over other cinema patrons.

1.10 You may redeem Movie Vouchers at the cinema, or by using the cinema's online booking system (if available), or as otherwise notified on the Optus Perks website. Extra charges may be payable for online bookings and upgrade fees e.g. 3D sessions, depending on the policies of the particular cinema or venue.

1.11 You must redeem the Movie Voucher by the expiry date specified on the Movie Voucher. The expiry date will be clearly shown on your movie voucher. We do not give refunds for unused or expired Movie Vouchers, nor do we provide extensions to the expiry date of any Movie Voucher.

1.12 Film classification rules still apply, so personal identification and proof of age may be required to obtain tickets for certain sessions.

1.13 No change or refund will be given if you use a Movie Voucher to obtain a ticket for a session that would ordinarily cost less than the price of the Movie Voucher.

2. Liability

2.1 To the extent permitted by law, Optus, its Service Providers and participating cinemas do not accept any responsibility or liability to compensate the purchaser or other bearer, or accept any liability for:

(a) for lost, stolen or damaged Movie Vouchers;

(b) any non-acceptance by a cinema of Movie Vouchers;

(c) any inability of the bearer to use the Movie Vouchers;

(d) the contents or accuracy of the Movie Vouchers or the cinema listing described at www.optusperks.com.au/cinemaview;

(e) any personal loss or injury occurring at the cinema or venue or otherwise arising in relation to Movie Vouchers.

2.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Optus, its Service Providers and participating cinemas do not guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the cinemas or venues and cannot be held liable for any personal loss or damage arising in connection with those services.

HOYTS Movie Tickets (Book A Session) - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 These HOYTS Movie Tickets Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the Optus Perks Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistencies, these HOYTS Movie Tickets Terms and Conditions prevail.

1.2 HOYTS Movie Tickets are available for purchase by Optus Perks Members through Optus Perks by booking a session online at www.optusperks.com.au

1.3 Optus Perks Members must be logged in to Optus Perks to make a purchase of HOYTS Movie Tickets and book a movie session

1.4 You may only purchase 2 or 4 HOYTS LUX Movie Tickets or up to 10 Adult or Kids Movie Tickets per transaction. Adult,Kids and HOYTS LUX Movie Tickets may be purchased for any available session at a participating HOYTS cinema excluding sessions after 5pm on Saturdays.

1.5 HOYTS Movie Tickets can be used at participating HOYTS cinemas only and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash and cannot be re-sold. For a full list of participating HOYTS cinemas for Movie Tickets, see http://www.hoyts.com.au/cinemas/cinema_search.aspx

1.6 Please follow the steps outlined below to purchase your tickets and go to the movies with Movie Tickets:

(a) Step 1: Visit optusperks.com.au.

(b) Step 2: Login. If you are not registered for Optus Perks you will need to register at optusperks.com.au/register.

(c) Step 3: Select the ‘Go to the Movies’ page, and click on ‘Book your HOYTS movie session’.

(d) Step 4: You will now go to the HOYTS cinema website to select your movie session and select the ticket quantity you require – you can select 2 or 4 HOYTS LUX Movie Tickets or up to 10 other tickets per transaction.

(e) Step 5: Proceed to the secure payment page and provide payment using credit card, Visa Checkout, MasterPass, PayPal or HOYTS gift card (but not a Movie Voucher). Please Note: The cardholder will be required to give personal information and card details online for the tickets purchased.

(f) Step 6: Read the terms and conditions and booking policy and check the box ‘Yes, I accept the terms and conditions and booking policy’.

(g) Step 7: Purchase confirmation will appear on your screen and it will be sent by HOYTS to your preferred email address.

(h) Step 8: Collect your tickets at the relevant HOYTS cinema by presenting your Booking Confirmation email or quoting your Booking Confirmation number and presenting the credit card you used to make your purchase, or print off the pdf tickets in the confirmation email.

1.7 Movie Tickets are valid for the specified movie and session only, and other terms & conditions and restrictions apply (Movie Tickets terms and conditions) – these Movie Tickets terms and conditions will be disclosed to you before your purchase on the HOYTS website. Please check the Movie Tickets terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.

1.9 HOYTS Movie Tickets are subject to availability of movie session seats. Optus Perks Members booking HOYTS Movie Tickets do not receive preferential ticket allocation or seating over other cinema patrons.

1.10 HOYTS may apply a booking fee to HOYTS LUX Movie Tickets, which will be disclosed to you at the time of booking. There is a $3 booking fee for HOYTS LUX screenings.

1.11 Movie Tickets (once purchased) cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged. Neither Optus nor HOYTS give refunds for unused Movie Tickets (or no shows), nor do Optus or HOYTS provide replacement tickets or change booking details for unused Movie Tickets (or no shows).

1.12 Movie Tickets cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other promotion or discount. Movie Tickets are for personal use, and must not be purchased or used for commercial purposes.
